By the way- you probably won't find this as cute as I do- but one week my daughter Raven decided to try her hand at the latest Schmooze or Lose strip. Awwwwwww............. By the way, you can see the whole Golem arc on Drawing.org. Please, leave comments.
A Cartoonist with a Blog on Blogger? Yes, as I am making many positive changes in my life, I thought it was time to go where many have gone before, to commune with the artistic comunity, to garner feedback, to learn, to grow, and, dare I say it... to socialize (argh! Must resist urg to crawl back into the shadows!).This is a panel from my award winning weekly comic strip Schmooze or Lose. This arc featured The Golem, and it was a real treat for me, as I've always loved that story and all Frankenstein like tales. I really need to find an excuse to draw monsters every week- it makes me happy. Anyone got a job for me where I could do that? Anywho, thanks for reading. My promise is to update at least twice a week, though my hope is to make it more once every one or two days. We'll see!
I am a cartoonist and animator working and living in beautiful New York City. I live with my girlfriend Lisa, a writer, and her 2 boys on the upper West side. I have 2 kids, a teenage son Devon and an almost teenage daughter Raven. They live in Saratoga Springs, where I usually spend my weekends.
My day job is at Nick.com, doing Flash & After Effects animation, game design and art, mostly for their popular 3D chat environment Nicktropolis.
I also draw a weekly comic strip called Schmooze or Lose for The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles.
My goal is to move into character/prop design full time, and of
course, what I really want to do is direct ;-) I love crafting stories
with my art. I have a BFA in Film & Video from Pratt Institute and I
hope to get back into filmmaking one of these days.
